GENERAL CARE ADVICE / CL EANING

Dressing Your Curtains
We recommend all curtains to be tied in their folds for up to 48 hours to allow the folds to form. It is best to lightly tie the curtainsat 3 points, top, middle and bottom, using a soft ribbon or strips of fabric to avoid any tie marks.

Shrinkage
Please note that some shrinkage may occur during the first dry cleaning cycle, sometimes up to 5%. There is sufficient fabricavailable within the hem to allow for any necessary adjustment in length. Occasionally, certain atmospheric conditions can alsocause shrinkage in curtains whilst they are hanging by the window.

Cleaning
Before cleaning, remove all curtain hooks if you are using any. If you have pencil pleat curtains, untie the draw cords at one endand stretch the curtain out flat. We highly recommend that all curtains should be dry cleaned. Curtains should be re-hung as soonas possible afterwards.

Ironing

All curtains (except velvet) can be lightly pressed with a warm iron on the reverse side. Steam, excessive pressure or temperatureshould be avoided. This can cause the curtain fabric to shrink or stretch.

Velvets
Velvet pile is prone to flattening during transit or cleaning, which can show as patches of darker & lighter shade. These marks willeventually disappear when the curtains have been hung for a period of time but it may be necessary to brush the fabric upwardsin order to lift the pile. Velvets should always be dry cleaned and never ironed.

These are by far my most favorite curtains! And they’re a decent price. I didn’t need to iron them and they came in a timely manner. They’re a thick nice fabric. The pattern is calming yet stylish. The best part is the room darkening. It’s the perfect amount I needed. I change curtains often, due to something I don’t like with them. Not these. I expect I’ll have them as long as they last.

These curtain panels are excellent quality, especially for the cost. They are a great heavier weight fabric that did not have wrinkles right out of the package and the colors and pattern are true/clean. I got the Biscay Green Damask and the background is more of a light gray than white (see pictures) but I think I like it better than if it were white. They go beautifully in our guest room/office that is painted light gray. The only problem I had was that I ordered 2 packages to get 4 panels but only 3 panels were sent. A bit of a hassle to get a return/refund since these are supposed to be 2 to a package, but it finally got done even though they couldn’t just send me one panel and I had to order a new package. Aside from that, these are great curtains at a great value and I definitely recommend them to help spiff up a room.

I have no complaints for these curtains, very well made. I will say that I thought the background color was white, disappointed there, it is more of a gray. I paired them off with a pair of navy blue sheers, looks really nice.
