Description
This single-layer blackout curtain can block 80%-95% of light and UV rays (black works better than white). The eco-friendly polyester fabric offers a natural dark environment for the night shift worker who has to sleep during the day. Good quality finishing will withstand years of use. In some cases, light can still be seen on the edges of the curtain. The deeper the color, the better the blackout effect it can provide. Blackout curtains are made of polyester, an excellent fabric for blackout curtains; they are smooth, durable, strong, and low-cost. This fabric is also easy-to-clean, and it can hold out against wrinkling.

These cream blackout curtains have got to be my favorite! I’ve tried a lot of cream shades, but can’t find that “the one”. When I ordered this – I didn’t have high hopes…
When they arrived, I saw the material through the plastic and couldn’t wait to open it.
They don’t look like much when you take them out, but when you put them away – they are just beautiful.
The curtains are just right to accentuate my living room decor. I love a lot of creams, whites, neutrals – so this is perfect! I love the look of the linen.
They are well made – not thin/cheap material.
I’m very sensitive to light – even the tiniest “LED power light” can bother me and cause migraines, so I’ve grown to love blackout curtains. They’re perfect for those lazy days of relaxation, afternoon naps, and especially for those who work the third shift and have to sleep during the day!
I layered these curtains with a pair of strips in the middle, and even with the layering, it still keeps the light out.
The pictures don’t do it justice, especially the photos taken. I have purchased Nicetown curtains in the past and have always been satisfied with the quality.
Curtains will crease from packaging – you can use an iron/streamer, toss them in the dryer or hang them in the shower and the hot steam will usually remove the creases in no time.
I washed them in cold water a couple of times; since my curtains were a little damp when finished – I just put them back on the curtain rod to dry ??????? No wrinkle.
I love these too: they come in pairs, not a panel, and are very affordable in quality!

I like the bronze grommets and these are black out. The color is nice with realistic linen look. They are still wrinkled even weeks later. I may need to iron them. Overall good curtains for a good price.

I bought a second set for another bedroom .
I needed blackout curtains for our media room. During the day and early morning the sun beams through the faux wood blinds. The room would also be very hot if it was warm day. I ordered a neutral color to match with any decor. The curtains look very nice and they block a majority of the light. I didn’t expect them to block everything since they aren’t adhered to the window. They are very well made and I love the grommets. I wish I had a hand held steamer to get the wrinkles out from packaging, but hopefully the wrinkles will come out over time. I would recommend these curtains.
Very durable and heavy-duty blackout curtain. The color is a tan with specks of beige. They are not very wrinkle free even after washing. They filter out a vast amount of light in the room and provide some insulating due to their thickness.
I hung these curtains on their side to fit a pesky curved bay window with a southern exposure that gets the afternoon sun. My TV watching experience has improved dramatically since installing the curtains – especially now that the sun isn’t shining in my eyes through the lightweight curtains that I replaced.
I checked the room from outside at night and these curtains offer complete privacy from prying eyes. I’m really happy with the thickness and overall quality of these curtains. They’re good quality and a fraction of the price of a custom made product.
I was getting sunlight shining on my TV in the afternoon and got these to take care of the problem which they did wonderfully. These are advertised as blackout curtains and they are definitely doing the job. The material is thick, but isn’t overly heavy so they are easy to put up and slide along the curtain rod. I’m not sure about the thermal insulation as the hot days of summer are now past, but I hopefully these will help out when the hot days return.
