Recommend.great value, as expected…. Light filtering, just right amount of sheer for privacy in kitchen. Wash easily, and wrinkle free out of dryer
Washable “linen” sheers!. I wanted the elegant look of linen tie-top sheers, but I knew from previous experience with real linen, it is very expensive AND it is very fragile. Linen shrinks like crazy when you wash it, even in cold water, and even if you don’t put in the dryer. Plus linen will stain very easily and it’s impossible to get the stain out.
So I looked at several easy care polyester versions of “faux linen” but all of them looked cheap. UNTIL ….. I took a chance and ordered these sheers from Nicetown. Let me tell you, these white sheers really do look like linen. The weave is a “perfectly imperfect” natural linen look, with the same texture and slubbing.
I plan to flip them upside down so the hem becomes the top, and sew tie tabs made of white cotton herringbone trim tape onto the top edge. Voila! Elegant tie-top sheers! And then the bottom edge has a nice deep hem (which was intended as a rod pocket). When they get dusty I can easily pop them in the washer and dryer – no worries.
I put the money I saved on the sheers into the purchase of beautiful brass rods with high end hardware and finials. I can’t wait to hang my new “linen” sheers!

Made well. These curtains are made well and hand beautifully. They are just what I was looking for to make my room look light and airy. A linen quality makes them look way more expensive than they are.
Beautifully romantic look for my waterfront windows.. These are beautiful and slightly romantic yet not overwhelmingly so. Looks great in my cabin against the dark stained wood walls! They are sheer enough and gauzy looking. They are not clear but I believe they are perfect for obscuring the view others have when out on the lake looking up to my cabin. I found the to be beautiful. I bought them long enough so I could tie them up when not closed. I love the relaxed look it gives.
